crocodile filming in Uganda

Crocodile Filming in Uganda

Crocodile Filming in Uganda can be done both in and outside the safari parks. If you are looking at filming the crocodiles inside a national park, there is only five (05) National Parks where crocodile filming can be done. These include; Murchison Falls National Park (considered the best place to film crocodiles in Uganda), Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, Semiliki National Park and Kidepo Valley National Park – for the extremely rare Pygmy Nile Crocodiles.

Outside of national Parks, crocodiles can be seen on lake victoria, lake Kyoga and on the river Nile. However, filming Crocodiles outside of the National Parks can be quite difficult. The crocodiles that survive outside of National Parks are known to attack humans and quite a couple of deaths have been recorded. The Uganda Wildlife Authority _UWA continues to capture and relocate such crocodiles to protected places like Murchison Falls.

Our special thanks go to Mr Peter Ogwanga & his UWA team that  continue to tirelessly protect local communities from the jaws of crocodiles by capturing and relocating crocodiles in Uganda (click to read & watch Peter & his UWA team)
