Location: The Bush Lodge is located near the Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda offering travellers an ideal location from which to explore the magnificent surroundings with its abundant wildlife. The camp has been built to blend into its natural surroundings and to provide guests with privacy to enhance their African safari experience. 

It’s scenic setting next to the national park and bordering the Kazinga channel, make for an unforgettable adventure getaway. Wildlife moves in and out of the camp while the hyena’s and hippos sound complement the memorable experience of the starlit dinners.

This bush lodge in Uganda provides visitors in search of wildlife and nature with an affordable and authentic travel experience.  A fantastic outdoor safari atmosphere with close wildlife and nature experiences combined with delicious food and friendly service.

Rooms & Amenities: The camp offers three (03) different accommodation types which include the Banda, the Non-self-contained Tents as well as the Self-contained Tents.

Non-self-contained Tents

The Non-self-contained Tents provide a budget-friendly accommodation option for guests.  These African style tents are equipped with comfortable beds, a bedside table and a power outlet to charge electrical equipment.  The tents are set under a thatched roof which creates a private terrace and offers shade.  Visitors staying in these tents share a communal ablution block which offers flushing toilets and showers.  Bedding, linen as well as towels are provided.

Self-contained Tents

Guests who prefer some privacy and a real Bush experience may stay in one of the two self-contained tents which are located a short distance away from the lodge.  These tents are suitable for families travelling with children as an extra tent can be placed on the next platform.  This type of accommodation is recommended for the adventurous traveller, and those guests who have their transportation as walking to and from the main camp is not recommended during the night.

Banda’s

The twelve (12) self-contained Bandas are spaciously spread out between the indigenous bush of the lodge.  These rooms have been constructed on a raised wooden platform and consist of canvas and local materials.  Giant mosquito netted windows provide a lovely view and ensure guests a close nature experience.  The Bandas feature private terraces which overlook the seasonal Kamera river.  An eco toilet as well as an outside shower, where two shower heads allow couples to take their starlit shower together, are featured.
