DAY 01: KIGALI CITY TOUR, TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST NATIONAL PARK.
Breakfast; thereafter depart your Hotel at 9:00 am for a city tour – including a visit to the Rwanda Genocide Memorial Site. Thereafter, embark on the drive into Uganda, with a brief stop en route for lunch, and thereafter continuing to your lodge for check-in dinner & overnight.
Journey time: 04-Hours from Kigali.

DAY 02: GORILLA TREKKING IN BWINDI FOREST
Breakfast; thereafter confirm that you have all the basics; a lunch box (to be provided by the Lodge), raincoat, good hiking boots, waterproof pants + long-sleeved shirt, a pair of strong garden gloves, repellent, a waterproof daypack to carry all your valuables.
Your guide will thereafter transfer you to the briefing point and also help you out through the registration process. After the briefing by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger, you will embark on your long-awaited Gorilla trekking experience. Return to the lodge and relax.

HEAVEN BOUTIQUE HOTEL – KIGALI
Only a 15min drive from the international airport, and located in a quiet neighbourhood in Kigali’s city centre with wonderful views of the city, the Heaven Restaurant & Boutique Hotel is a homely and friendly hotel owned and managed by Alissa and Josh Ruxin.
Heaven’s layout is rather unorthodox but yet appealing; the accommodation is spread across three buildings; three rooms besides the restaurant, twelve rooms at the main villa, and seven rooms at the newly renovated garden chalet.
