Uganda Gorilla Habituation Permit Prices 2018 - 2019Gorilla Habituation is the most Upclose gorilla encounter you can ever have with wild Mountain Gorillas in Africa. In Uganda, gorilla Habituation is currently done in Bwindi Forest (Rushaga Sector). Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi Forest is a Full Day trek that allows you up to four(04) hours with a group of Wild Mountain gorillas still undergoing the traditional human familiarization process called habituation.

Uganda Gorilla Habituation Permit Prices 2018 – 2019 cost USD1,500 for all foreign Non-Residents, USD1,000 for Foreign Residents and or Expatriates living and working within East Africa ( Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya), and East African locals pay Uganda Shillings – UGX750,000.

If four (04) hours with wild mountain gorillas is too Much for you, you may opt for the traditional one (01) hour with habituated Mountain gorillas in Uganda. Unlike Mountain Gorilla Habituation which is strictly done in Rushaga sector – close to Rwanda’s border with Uganda – one can actually fly into Rwanda and trek gorillas in Uganda gorilla trekkings are done in all four (04) sectors of Bwindi Forest. Bwindi Forest boasts of 11 habituated gorilla group – families available for gorilla trekking every day. Visits to these habituated gorilla groups are done once a day, and only 08 tourists are allowed to visit a group each day.

Uganda Gorilla Permit Prices 2018 -2019 cost USD600 for all foreign Non-Residents, USD500 for Foreign Residents and or Expatriates living and working within East Africa ( Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya), and East African locals pay Uganda Shillings – UGX250,000. All the above Uganda gorilla Permit Prices above include; Ranger guide fees, Park Entrances and community contribution to the locals community that lives around Bwindi Forest and or Mgahinga Gorilla Park – the only two parks where you can see mountain gorillas In  Uganda.
