June – October considered as the dry season of the Serengeti is best for seeing the wildebeest migrations across the Serengeti plains further Into the neighboring Masai Mara. River crossings can also be experienced; June – July crossing the Grumeti River, and September Crossing the Mara River.
- Much as this is considered the dry season in the Serengeti, it does get chilly in mornings and night – warm clothing is recommended for your morning game drives.
- Seronera area of Serengeti National Park is usually overcrowded in the Dry Season months Of June – October.
November – December is considered is fairly a good time to visit the Serengeti. There are fewer crowds, and the vegetation is green due to the rains (light and often rains in the afternoons).
