Safety and Security In Rwanda

Safety and Security in Rwanda – Visit Safe & Secure Rwanda.

Safety and security in Rwanda is good. Even with Rwanda’s close proximity to Democratic Republic of Congo, we can still afford to say “Safaety and security in Rwanda is good”. Rwanda has over the years dealt with her past safety and security issues like the well publicized 1994 tragic Rwandan Genocide that claimed thousands of lives all over Rwanda. A “Never again campaign was developed” to deal with the post genocide effects. This campaing has also seen the Rwandan government set and maintain safety and security standards within the country.

Rwanda’s ruling President Paul Kagame is very strict of matters concerning safety and secuirty in Rwanda and will move in swiftly to solve any possible upcoming threats.

Rwanda major backbone is tourism, with thousands of tourists now flocking Rwanda from all over the globe to take on gorilla trekking and wildlife safaris in Rwanda. Gorilla trekking is their main draw card – the government knows this and is continuosly putting into place systems and mechanisms to ensure that the coountry remains safe to allow for tourism (their main revune earner ) to thrive – and yes they are achiveing this.

However, just like any other developing country, minor safety and security breaches still do occur especially in the Capital Kigali – most of which you may never experience while on an organised tour in Rwanda as all tourist sites and accomodations are well protected.

Rwanda is one of the safest countries in Africa, her streets are clean, her people are friendly, and every measure is taken by the Rwandan gorvernment to ensure continous safety and security in Rwanda. Safety and security in Rwanda can only get better in a country where corruption is almost non exisistent. Rwanda is destined for the skies in tourism promotions facilitated by general safety and security within the Country.
