Rweteera Safari Park Overlooking Lake Nyabikere

Rweteera Safari Park Overlooking Lake Nyabikere

Rweteera safari Park is a small boutique community owned safari camp offering both cottage (newly setup) and tented style of accommodation fused with african hospitality.

The newly constructed cottages are ensuite with wood heated hot water flowing to the cottage bathrooms (depending on the weather, you hope it gets their still hot) while the tents are non ensuite – but there is a plan to make them ensuite too – however the shared bathrooms are bearable. Overall, remember you are coming here for the experience so loosen up alittle and purpose to enjoy Africa as it comes.

Festo – the Chef will treat your taste buds to tasty african style dishes made for garden fresh home grown vegetables seasoned with african backyard spices – you may want to extend your stay just for the culnary art of an african chef.

Rweteera Safari ParkRweteera Safari Park is built at the shore of Lake Nyabikere (one of the Kibale – Ndali – Kasenda Crater Lakes). The team at the camp very well know the worth of their location and therefore serve their meals and drinks, and a bonfire too is often setup in the evenings – all besides the Lake while the weather permits.

While at Rweteera, we recommend that you immerse your self in available community activities like locally guide community walks that start and end at the camp. These walks / experiences are highly tailor made to suit your safari timing and they run for round about 2 -5 hours or even a full Day Rweetera Community experience mingling with the locals  and understanding their way of life.

Kibale forest National park is approximately 15kms from Rweteera Safari Park making it an ideal base to explore Kibale forest on the popular chimp trekking expereince or Chimp Habitaution encounter.
