On this 7 days gorillas and beach holiday, you will fly to Mgahinga Gorilla National park for gorilla trekking. If you like you can do the trekking twice or venture into Golden Monkey tracking. You may also visit the Batwa a historic tribe that lived in the forest before it was gazetted. You will then fly to Entebbe and cruise on Lake victoria in a speedboat to a secluded island.

Day 01: Arrival into Uganda

On arrival at Entebbe International airport for your 7 Days Gorilla trekking – Beach Honeymoon holiday in Uganda, you will be met by a Realm Africa Safaris™ representative who will then transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe.

Journey time: 15 Minutes

Accommodation: Hotel No.5

Meal Plan: Breakfast.


Day 02: Fly to Bwindi Forest National Park

Breakfast; thereafter your driver guide will transfer you back to Entebbe for your scheduled local flight with Aerolink to Bwindi Forest. A Realm Africa Safaris™ representatives will be waiting for you at the Kisoro airstrip and will transfer you to the luxurious Mount Gahinga Lodge

Journey time (s):

  • 15 minutes road transfer from Hotel No.5 to Entebbe Airport.
  • 01-hour 10minutes Flight time between Entebbe and Kirsoro airstrip (subject to prevailing weather conditions).
  • 45 minutes of scenic road transfer to Mount Gahinga lodge.

Day 03: Gorilla trekking In Bwindi Forest National Park

Early breakfast; with a packed lunch box, 02 litres of bottled drinking water, raincoat, lightfast dry long-sleeved shirt & trousers, good waterproof boots, garden gloves, gaiters, repellent, binoculars, a camera with extra chips and batteries, and a waterproof daypack to carry all your stuff, your guide will accompany you to the UWA offices (under 5 minutes walk from the lodge – subject to permit availability) and will help you register. After registration, you will be briefed about gorilla trekking by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger who will thereafter accompany you and other members of the group (up to 08 tourists are allowed) with a team of other rangers and porters. Gorilla trekking may last up to 04 hours and can be strenuous – we, therefore, recommend taking a porter during gorilla trekking.

Day 04: Second Gorilla Trek / Golden monkey  / or Batwa Experience

Breakfast; this morning you could opt to do a second gorilla trek in Bwindi Forest (must be pre-arranged at the time of booking your tour), visit the golden Monkeys of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park on a guided trek or Visit the Batwa pygmies – men/women of the forest of the forest to experience their way of life.

Accommodation: Mount Gahinga Lodge | Meal Plan: Breakfast, Packed Lunch & Dinner.


Day 05: Fly back to Entebbe & transfer by speedboat to Bulango Island.

Breakfast; thereafter with all your belongings, check out and drive to Kisoro airstrip arriving on time for your scheduled local flight back to Entebbe. On arrival at Entebbe airport, a representative of Realm Africa Safaris™ will be waiting to transfer you to Waterfront Jetty where your speedboat will be waiting to transfer you to Bulago Island. As you approach Bulago island, you will be welcomed by the sight of 06 spectacularly well set Lakeside Cottages at Pineapple Bay resort where you will stay – we call it the perfect place to unwind your 7 Days Gorillas and beach holiday in Uganda

Accommodation: Pineapple Bay Resort – Bulago Island.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (BLD).


Day 06: Relax or take a guided walk on Bulago Island 

Breakfast; thereafter pick from the choices of the day; relaxing at the resort, taking a guided nature walk On the island or visiting the neighbouring Ngamba Chimpanzee Island (requires prior arrangement).

Passionate anglers (fishermen) can opt to indulge in fishing on Lake Victoria for the Nile Perch. Pineapple Bay Resort is probably the second-best (after Murchison Falls National park) place to indulge in sports fishing on Lake Victoria.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (BLD).


Day 07: Transfer by boat from Bulago Island to Entebbe for onward travel.

Breakfast; thereafter with all your belongings you will be transferred to Entebbe mainland on time for you mornings Behind the Scenes experience with animal keepers at the Uganda Wildlife education centre.

Alternatively, you may opt to visit the popular Entebbe Botanical gardens – probably East Africa’s largest botanical garden.

You will be transferred to Goretti’s pizzeria – Overlooking Lake Victoria where you will have a chance to enjoy a freshly prepared tilapia fish – you had better enjoy it while still in Uganda – Bon appetite!!

After your lunch, your driver-guide will then transfer you to the airport on time for your Outbound international flight back home.

  • 45 minutes by speedboat from Pineapple bay Resort  Bulago Island to Entebbe Mainland.
  • 3 minutes – Entebbe mainland to Uganda WildlIfe education Centre.
  • 5 Minutes from Entebbe main Land to Entebbe Botanical gardens.
