All permits are booked and Sold out on first come – first, serve basis and ought to be fully paid up for UWA to issue them – it’s for this reason that we ask you to fully pay up your gorilla permit fees at the time of booking with us. Getting to Bwindi Forest for 2017 Uganda Discounted Gorilla Safari Holiday?

Bwindi forest can be accessed both by air and road from Entebbe International airport or traveller may opt to fly-in to Kigali, Rwanda and then drive to Bwindi Forest.

FLY-IN TO ENTEBBE, UGANDA.

The drive time from Entebbe to Bwindi is 10hours. However, not many travellers know that you could fly from Entebbe (aboard Aerolinks Cessna planes) into the heart of gorilla trekking. Aerolink Uganda does operate a daily flight that departs Entebbe as early as 07:45 and arrives at 08:55 – if you opt to fly to Bwindi, all you then need is just 01 hour 10 minutes – if flying to Kisoro which is just 1:30minutes drive to your lodge.


ALTERNATIVE:

FLY-IN TO KIGALI, RWANDA

Travellers may opt to fly-in to Kigali – the capital Of Rwanda “country of a thousand hills” as many like to call it. The drive from Kigali to Bwindi lasts only 5 hours. This is definitely shorter than 10 hours driving from Entebbe to Bwindi Forest.
